We believe that a child’s parents (not their church) will always be the biggest influence on their lives in every way – including spiritually. So if the church wants to impact kids spiritually, it makes sense for the church to try to partner with the most powerful, influential people in those children’s lives in order to make that happen!
We use the term PARTNER for a reason. It’s because we believe PARENTS AND THE CHURCH NEED EACH OTHER. The church needs parents to be actively engaged with their kid’s spiritual growth. And parents need the local church because their kids need to learn about and experience God from a whole community of believers!
Kidzone, our children’s program runs concurrently with the adult service at 10:30am on Sundays. Because we value the family worship experience, children worship with their families in the main Sanctuary until they are dismissed to their classes. This usually happens after the first few songs. Watch the slides for the ‘*Kidzone Begins’ note!
At Kidzone, your child’s safety and security is very important to us. All children who participate in our kids programs are to be signed in by a parent at the kids desk. Every child will receive a number with a matching tag for parents. If you child needs your attention during the service, the numbers on your tag will appear on the screen in the adult service. Kidzone is secured once the children have arrived for class. You will need your tag to pick your children up after the service. Background screenings and interviews are also required for all our staff and volunteers.
First-time guests, please visit the Kids Desk before the service to register your child and get your welcome pack. To sign up for our weekly newsletter go HERE

Nursery (0-1 years)
We know leaving your new baby for the first time can be overwhelming. The volunteers in our infant classroom have been chosen for this age group because of their love for babies and training to care for all of the need of your infant. To ensure your baby receives the best care, we adhere to a one volunteer for every three children ratio.
Preschool (2-5 years)
We know things are busy at this stage of life and your children are learning and growing in amazing ways. We are ready for them! We believe in an active, hands-on approach to learning with preschool children. So you can plan on a lot of jumping, singing, dancing, and laughter in every experience. Be on the lookout for fun crafts and games.
It is our hope that every preschool child will know:
God LOVES me.
God MADE me.
Jesus wants to be my FRIEND forever.
November Theme: Happy Helpers’ Club
Elementary (Grades K-5)
In the Elementary class we believe that the Bible should never be boring, worship can be really loud, and relationships are what matter most. Before kids head off to middle school, we want to make sure these three things stick.
- I need to make the wise choice.
- I can trust God no matter what.
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
We begin the morning in an exciting large group setting using the 252 Basics curriculum for our worship and Bible story, and then move into our small group environment where small group leaders engage kids in meaningful discussion and activities.
Our small group environment is our focus. We want kids to see how Gods Word fits in to their lives, to learn how to talk to him, and to build friendships that will last. That’s why it is important to make sure your child connects with the same friends and same leaders – EVERY SUNDAY!

FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
Who are the volunteers?
Our volunteers are parents, adults, and teens who love God and kids. All of our volunteers go through a screening process which includes a Child Abuse Registry Check.
What if my baby is crying or not adjusting well?
Our volunteers are wonderful with children and will use distraction to help little ones who miss their parent. If there is a problem or your child does not quiet down, you will be paged. You will find the number display at the front of the church.
Can my child come to class with a cough?
Because we love all our children, we accept only healthy children into our classes. If your child has any of the following symptoms, we ask you to not bring them to class: temperature of 100 degrees or more, rash (not associated with diapering, heat, or allergies), congestion, greenish nose discharge, eye discharge, severe cough, diarrhea, or vomiting within 24 hours.
Where are the classes?
The Children’s Wing is to the left of the Main Entrance from the Parking Lot (Spence St.).
When do the kids go to class?
Because we value the family worship experience, children worship with their families in the main Sanctuary until they are dismissed to their classes. This usually happens after the first few songs. Watch the slides for the ‘*Kidzone Begins’ note.
What security measures are in place?
Your child’s safety and security is our number one goal. That’s why we have chosen KidCheck, as we want to provide you with the best experience at check-in, and to provide you, as parents, the ability to act as a team with us to keep them in safe hands. All children who participate in our children’s programs are to be signed in by a parent. Every child will receive a number with a matching tag for parents. If your child needs your attention during the service, the numbers on your tag will appear on the screen in the adult service. We also have security personnel on each week.
What happens in an emergency?
Your child’s safety and security is our number one goal. Therefore, in an emergency like a fire, please meet your child outside in the Parking Lot. We ask parents not to pick up their children from the rooms.
